1. Log on to the terminal server
start the entry command ('Start' -> 'Execute' -> enter cmd)
go to the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn directory
2. carry out osql -E sa
3. enter sp_password @old = null, @new= 'PASSWORD' , @loginame = 'sa'
4. "Enter" to send the entry.
5. Enter go and Enter to execute the command

Outlook Autocomplete cache got you down after a migration (such as injecting useless X.400 addresses?).
You can clear the entire cache by deleting the *.NK2 file for your profile. In Windows XP or 2000, it's in the hidden folder C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook. Outlook will create a new NK2 the next time you use it.

Yeah, although CafePress might have pioneered this stuff, there are alternatives, some of which are better now.

Wouldn't it be nice to leave yourself a reminder without having to find a pen and paper? Wouldn't it be great to leave a dictation without having to hear the sound of your own voice?

Well, the above bugs the heck out of me.
Introducing Jott (www.jott.com).
This free (at least while in Beta) service is pretty cool. It is pretty simple - when you need to leave yourself a reminder, simply call Jott, tell it who you wish to leave a message for (such as 'Myself') and then leave your voice message. Within a few minutes, you or whomever you chose from your address book will receive an email with your voice message, converted to text.
Note that the service is in BETA, thus, the text translation isn't yet perfect. And for me, I couldn't use the 1-800 number because it couldn't recognize my caller ID, but otherwise, it is a pretty cool and simple concept. One day it will be a paid service or perhaps just have brief advertisements but already it has proven useful.

I kept getting this, which was driving me crazy:
"windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file"
Turns out, that although I was referencing a UNC, that the IE7 advanced security settings were bunging it all up. I could view the share contents (.bat file) on the local computer but not remotely.
So, to resolve, went into Add/Remove Windows components and pulled the *delightful* IE7 security enhancements off my server.
